Control Center
The settings app and every panel in it, from Appearance to MCP.

One window, thirty-one panels
Control Center is TDE's settings app. It opens as an ordinary desktop window —
⚙ Control on the status bar, Control in the Notch, or the Launcher — and
shows a grouped grid of icon tiles. Opening a tile switches the window to that
panel; Esc goes back to the grid.
The grid is fully keyboard-driven: arrows move the selection, Enter opens,
Esc closes, and typing filters the tiles live. Every tile is also a click
target.
Four groups, always in this order:

Personal

| Lock & Privacy | lock | Idle lock on/off, the idle timeout, and lock-on-sleep. |
| Startup Apps | startup | The list of apps launched when the desktop finishes booting, with add and remove. |
| Notch | notch | Enable the Notch, switch to icons-only, and add, edit or remove its items. See Notch, taskbar and launcher. |
Hardware

| Displays | display | Select a connected monitor and change its resolution; falls back to reporting the terminal canvas size in cells when no display tool is available. |
| Tiling | tiling | Overlay bar height, trigger padding, and a toggle per snap target. See Windows and workspaces. |
| Keyboard | keyboard | Add, remove, reorder and activate XKB layouts, and choose the OS-level switch combination. |
System

| Widgets | widgets | Enable or disable the desktop dashlets, built-in and custom alike. |
| Shortcuts | shortcuts | Rebind every Alt+<key> window-manager shortcut, and tune the Esc leader and its timeout. |
| Users | users | Change your own password, list local accounts with UID and shell, and add, edit or remove them. |
| Crons | crons | The system cron jobs TDE owns — name, schedule and command — with enable, edit and create. |

Panels do not all write to the same place, which matters if you keep your configuration in version control:
